We are extremely happy with our purchase of our Toyota Sienna from North Suburban. I was surprised at their selection of vans. Pricing and customer service were great. No pressure, no silly add-ons, warranties, etc. We have driven the van for over a week and there are no surprises; for the price I couldn’t ask for much more. I think the negative reviews are mainly from dummies who can’t grasp the concept of buying used. Do your research, inspect the vehicle thoroughly, and plan for repair costs. If you want something with zero problems and a warranty, go to the dealer and spend the money.

I recommend shopping here for used cars, they've always been honest and quick with me. I've purchased 3 cars through them now and they've all been great and are still running several years later. Their inventory is usually full of the types of cars than l that I look for, mileage under 150k and prices under $5k, though they also have cars outside that too if you you're looking for something else. I don't know anything about their financing options since I buy with cash, so I can't speak on that. There's a shop down the road you can drive to for pre-purchase inspections if you prefer doing those too. (At your own cost of course)

My review is a little bit interesting because it's coming from the perspective of somebody who purchased a car everyone, including myself and my mechanic father, thought was fine off the lot only to discover on my way home that the transmission failed. Not only were these guys receptive to my phone call and kind about the incident, they didn't question me when I said there was a major issue. They took a look at it for 24 hours and upon discovering that it couldn't be fixed immediately, gave me a full refund, no questions asked. As the daughter of a mechanic I know how hard the used car business is, sometimes you get lemons and there aren't a lot of margins for profit. I respect any business that treats their customers this well. Highly recommend.

Amazing place nice people. I bought a car from here and drove it home the next day I changed my mind they were nice enough to let me exchange for another car. They read it all the paperwork they were very polite. And super helpful. Jerry was my sales personHe was very honest I had the opportunity to meet the owner of the car dealership. They were so nice and understanding and accommodating. They were very informative and up front with everything.. I had the opportunity to meet the amazing man who has ran the company for 38 years So never mind all the reviews you see online they are really good people. And honest about their cars. Thank you to the owner of North suburban auto sales and thank you to Jerry. I will be definitely sending more customers your way no matter how far away I live.

I too was a bit skeptical from other reviews, but these guys are very nice to deal with. My sister bought a 2010 Ford Escape Limited with 141K miles, as her daughter's first car. This is the Limited model, so comes with a ton of luxury features (leather seats, heated driver and passenger seats, rear view camera, remote start, etc.). They let me take it down to TGK to have it inspected (who were great too btw). I discovered the ignition switch was faulty (pretty common on the Escapes). North Suburban offered to replace it free of charge. Picked it up the following week, paperwork was easy, and I brought it home to detail it; which I enjoy doing. Found a new set of rims on Craigslist, ordered a remote start control off eBay along with standard filters to replace. Of course, all the fluids needed changing (but I fully expected that with any used car), and a front ball joint (again, pretty standard maintenance item). You can see the result of my detailing in the photo below. My sister drove it back to South Dakota and so far everything is working fine. I definitely recommend them.

I was initially skeptical of this place due to all of the bad reviews. But I had a great experience here and told myself if the vehicle didn't develop new or hidden issues (or did), I would leave a review.. They had the type of vehicle I had been looking for and it was a great price. I showed up and inspected the vehicle and went for a test drive. The gentleman (Chris maybe?) was helpful in answering my questions about the vehicle and helping me with the paperwork. The staff that I spoke with were not overly friendly, which doesn't matter to me, I didn't go there to make friends, I went to buy a car and don't need convincing. I have had the vehicle for almost a year now with no issues. I did not feel that they were "trying to pull one over on me" at any time. I do have mechanical knowledge and researched this vehicle in advance. I feel like other reviewers are expecting too much from a used car dealership. Do your research, have the vehicle inspected, and realize that you are buying a used car from a used car dealer, and they aren't going to bend over backwards for you.
